Dr. Fariba Lessani

Founder, O.D.

Dr. Fariba Lessani is the founder and lead optometrist at Alpine Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees from the University of Waterloo in Canada in 1995 and moved to the Bay Area in 2000, where she has since built a practice centered on patient care and problem-solving. Early in her education, Dr. Lessani discovered her unique talent for optometry during an eye exam with a mentally challenged individual, which affirmed her passion for the profession and her ability to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Over the years, Dr. Lessani’s professional interests have evolved, and while providing comprehensive eye exams remains second nature, she is now more focused on treating dry eye syndrome and fitting contact lenses. A strong advocate for giving back, she has participated in multiple vision care missions to underserved communities in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica. Dr. Lessani is also an active member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.

Outside of her work, Dr. Lessani enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid hiker who loves cooking and traveling, always seeking new experiences both at home and abroad. Her deep commitment to patient care, family, and community defines both her professional and personal life.

Naomi Rodriguez, Optician

Naomi is an experienced Optician at Alpine Optometry, bringing nearly three decades of expertise to the team. Originally from San Francisco, Naomi moved to the area 20 years ago and has since become a trusted professional in the eye care field. Her journey into the Optical world began at a young age, inspired by a memorable experience of accompanying her grandmother to pick out glasses. This sparked a lifelong passion for eyewear that has fueled her career.

Known for her keen eye for fashion and her “frame obsession,” Naomi thrives on helping patients select the perfect glasses. For her, patient care goes beyond vision—it’s about enhancing personal style and confidence. After just one year as an optician, Naomi knew she had found her calling, and her dedication to her craft has only grown stronger over the years.

Outside of work, Naomi’s love for fashion continues. She avidly follows designers, makeup trends, and eyewear brands on Instagram, staying updated on the latest styles and innovations in the fashion world.
